360° turntable with bow wheel mount
The TF3 features a mechanical 360° turntable that keeps the nose wheel straight in the direction of travel during towing. This reliably prevents twisting or damage to the landing gear.
Flexible compatibility
The TF3 can be adapted to different nose wheel sizes thanks to various mounting options – ensuring broad compatibility with many aircraft models.
The TowFLEXX TF3 is powered by two 200Ah 12V lead-gel batteries , which enable a range of approximately 3–5 km under full load.
Charging is conveniently done via a standard wall socket – the intelligent charger switches off automatically once the batteries are fully charged.
The all-electric design ensures emission-free operation , low operating costs and minimal maintenance.
The TF3 is made from high-quality materials and designed for intensive, continuous use on various surfaces.
Its solid rubber tires offer excellent traction, while the heavy-duty swivel caster at the front allows for turning on the spot – ideal for confined hangars or precise positioning .

Please note that the actual delivery time may vary slightly depending on the destination , current availability , and transport conditions . During periods of high demand or in the event of supply shortages of individual components, longer waiting times may occasionally occur.

The TowFLEXX TF3 is suitable for a wide range of aircraft within its weight class and offers an efficient, safe, and flexible solution for daily towing operations. The only exceptions are aircraft with dual nose wheels or nose wheel fairings , as these designs can impair the safe handling of the landing gear.
If your aircraft is not listed in the compatibility list above, this does not automatically mean that it cannot be moved with the TowFLEXX TF3. The TowFLEXX TF3 is equipped with a robust turntable featuring a crescent-shaped mount . This mount is available in various versions, each designed for different nose wheel sizes . Some versions are designed to accommodate multiple wheel sizes – however, their flexibility is not comparable to that of the larger TowFLEXX models .
The TF3 aircraft tug 's mounting bracket can be replaced if necessary. This only requires loosening a few screws. While this process is straightforward, it is not intended for quick changes between two towing operations.
The battery life of a TowFLEXX aircraft tug depends on several factors. As a guideline , the TF3 battery achieves a range of approximately 3 to 5 kilometers under full load . Actual performance and range can vary depending on operating conditions – inclines , uneven or soft surfaces , and low winter temperatures reduce battery performance. In warm summer temperatures, the battery typically exhibits somewhat greater endurance.
As soon as the battery level becomes critical , this is noticeable through a clear change in behavior: The tractor only moves one to two meters, stops, has to be restarted, and repeats this pattern. This behavior is a clear indication that the battery should be charged immediately to prevent deep discharge and potential battery damage .
A nearly empty battery requires approximately 6 hours to charge . The included charger switches off automatically once fully charged, allowing the battery to remain plugged in for extended periods – for example, overnight or over the weekend.
Recharging after each towing operation is not necessary, especially for short distances – such as from the hangar to the apron and back. However, we recommend fully charging the battery at least once a month to maintain its lifespan and performance in the long term.
