The average delivery time for TowFLEXX TF1 and TF2 is usually 1 to 2 weeks . In many cases, several units are already pre-produced and can be shipped immediately .
Depending on the individual configuration or chosen adapter set, the delivery time may vary slightly. In rare cases – for example, due to component shortages or particularly high demand – longer waiting times may occur at short notice.
Our team will of course inform you promptly about the exact delivery status of your tractor, so that you can optimally coordinate your planning.
The TowFLEXX models TF1 and TF2 are suitable for a wide range of aircraft within their weight class and offer a reliable, compact and user-friendly solution for daily towing operations.
The only exceptions are some tailwheel aircraft and particularly specialized aircraft types whose landing gear geometry makes safe handling difficult. However, if your aircraft is not listed in the compatibility list above , this does not automatically mean that it cannot be moved with a TowFLEXX tow tractor .

The adapters in the adjustment axis of the TowFLEXX aircraft tug can be exchanged in seconds and without any tools . This makes the tug particularly suitable for airfields, clubs, or shared ownership groups where several aircraft of different types are moved.
For each aircraft model, the appropriate adapters can be ordered directly if required – however, this is often not necessary : Many wheel axles of different aircraft types have identical dimensions, so a single adapter can be used for several machines.
Should an adjustment be necessary, the adapter's width can be precisely adjusted in just a few steps – quickly, easily, and reliably . This ensures your TowFLEXX tractor remains flexible, efficient, and ready for use at all times.
The battery life of a TowFLEXX tractor depends on several factors. As a rough guideline, the battery lasts approximately 3 km under full load . However, the actual range can vary – inclines, uneven or soft surfaces, and low temperatures in winter reduce performance, while the battery usually offers slightly more endurance in summer.
As soon as the battery level becomes critical , the device will exhibit unusual behavior: The tractor will only travel one to two meters, stop, need to be restarted, and repeat this pattern. This behavior is a clear indication that the battery should be charged immediately to prevent deep discharge and potential damage.
A nearly empty battery requires approximately 6 hours to charge . The included charger switches off automatically once fully charged, so the battery can safely remain plugged in for extended periods – for example, over the weekend.
For maximum flexibility, the battery carrying box can be easily removed and transported, so that the battery can also be charged outside the hangar , for example at home or in the clubhouse.
Charging is not necessary after every towing operation, especially if it only involves a few meters in and out of the hangar. However, we recommend fully charging the battery once a month.
